Furniture Sales Unit

Open to those members of the public, who are not able to purchase essential furniture, household and electrical items from expensive retail outlets.

Opened in February 2006 by Martin Horwood MP, our new retail outlet adjacent to Gloucester Bus Station has proved extremely popular with our customers. Initially funded with money from CRED (Community Recycling and Economic Development Programme) part of the Big Lottery (which also enabled us to purchase 2 new vans) we pleased to be able to bring our service in to the heart of the community. The easy access and visibility of the shop have resulted in a growth in the number of customers accessing our service. In the last 12 months we have provided in excess of 9,000 items from this shop alone.

This location has also allowed us to work with more trainees, offering them an opportunity to learn skills in administration, customer service and retail.

Most major items of furniture and electrical appliances are available, including beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs and washing machines.

The Gloucester shop is open between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and can be found at:
